What do you do?

I’m a graphic designer by trade but have gradually shifted careers into photography. I have a blog called Men In This Town that documents men’s street style around the world. The project was recently published into a book which has been an amazing experience.

Where do you live?

I recently moved to Woolloomooloo with my partner and our boston terrier Baxter.

What inspires you?

The streets inspire me the most. Through all my travels and constantly walking the streets of random cities, there really is a unique story to be told around every corner. There are interesting and creative things going on all the time and I make sure to pay attention to them.

How do you express yourself?

I think mostly through my photography, more specifically my Instagram. I have my family overseas and it has been such a great tool to keep them in the loop with what I’m up to and always give them a sense they’re with me.

Does what you wear reflect your personality?

I think personal style should definitely reflect your personality. When it comes to my own, it has evolved over time and I would say it’s a little relaxed with a spark of something fun…whether that be fun shoes or a small accessory. But not too over the top.

What article of clothing can’t you live without?

I’m almost always wearing a wide brim hat. I have this one hat I picked up in Tokyo last year and it hasn’t really come off since.

What’s your go-to gadget?

My DSLR is always with me, either in my bag or wrapped around my wrist. You never know when you’ll get a good shot so it’s good to be prepared. Those times when you don’t have it on you, it’s gut wrenching when you see the shot in your head but no camera in hand.

Where are your favourite places to shop?
